The first video review of the Arma Hobby Me 262 A-1a 1/72 (kit 70083) has already appeared online. We shipped the first kits yesterday – one of them reached a modeller’s workbench in the evening, and by the next morning the review was already published.

Robert Wójcik from the R-Miniatures channel, already familiar to readers of our blog from previous posts, prepared a quick overview of the kit contents and shared his first impressions after opening the box.

In the video you can see what’s inside the kit: two grey sprues with the model parts, a clear sprue (which also works as a transport jig), Cartograf decals, kabuki masks, steel balls for nose weight, and the optional 3D-printed cockpit module (free accessories 3D file download link is included in instruction, prints are sold separately).

In his first impressions Robert points out the quality of the surface finish, sharp panel lines and crisp details. The interior looks particularly good – especially the cockpit tub and the structural frames visible inside the landing gear bays.

One interesting observation also appears in the review: according to Robert, this is the first 1/72 Me 262 kit with the leading-edge slats molded as separate parts.

The decals also receive praise – including the unusual markings of Mutke’s aircraft – as well as the very readable small stencil markings.

The assembly instructions are shown as clear and helpful: they include colour call-outs for parts, highlight the differences between versions, and use 3D drawings to show the exact placement of components.

Robert mentions that he will return to the question of historical accuracy in upcoming build videos. Based purely on the quality of the parts, however, he already offers a strong opinion – that this may be the best Me 262 kit in 1/72 scale.

The first kits are now on their way to modellers. More reviews and the first build reports should appear soon.

If you come across more reviews or build logs – feel free to send us a link.
