To our latest kits – Hurricane Mk I Trop 1/48 (40016) and Curtiss P-36C 1/72 (70082) – we prepared decals and masks produced by Cartograf. The decals were printed using Cartograf technology, and the masks are also cut by Cartograf.
Cartograf printing and masks cut by Cartograf
Both kits include decals printed by Cartograf. Thanks to this, even very small elements – servicing stencils or unit emblem details – remain sharp and readable. The painting masks are also cut by Cartograf.

Sharp printing and emblem details
The decal sheet for kit 40016 features very sharp and crisp printing. This is especially visible on the unit emblems – small details and colours remain clearly readable even at this scale.
Differences between RAF and SAAF markings
We also made sure to reproduce the differences between RAF and SAAF markings. The set includes roundels and fin flashes in the correct colour variants for both air forces.

Servicing stencils at the limits of printing
The P-36C decal sheet includes very small servicing stencils typical for aircraft of the P-36 / H-75 family. These are among the smallest elements placed on the sheet – practically at the limits of printing capability.
Two instrument panel sets
The sheet also includes two sets of instrument panels – intended for modellers who ordered the kit in a promotion together with overtrees and want to build two aircraft.
Bonus markings for experimental camouflage
We also prepared extra markings for aircraft in experimental camouflage, including three variants of the squadron emblem. More about these bonus schemes you can find in text below:

Cartograf masks
Masks cut using a die-cutting tool, without incomplete cuts and without damage caused by a dull blade.
