We continue our look inside the box of the 70083 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a in 1/72 scale. In the previous article we showed the decals, masks and the metal nose weights. Today we take a closer look at the model parts – the clear sprue and the grey plastic sprues.

Clear parts

The clear sprue includes the canopy parts and the navigation lights. The parts are thin and crystal clear, nicely capturing the distinctive canopy shape of the Me 262. As a small bonus we also added the “Arma Jig” – a stand that helps during transport of the model and makes it easier to set the correct landing gear geometry.

Grey sprues

The kit includes two grey sprues with the model parts. These contain all the main structural components of the aircraft – fuselage halves, wings, engine nacelles, landing gear and fine surface details.
