Before the modelling world turns its attention to the 2026 release calendar, work at Arma Hobby is already well underway. Tooling is being refined, box art and instructions are taking shape, and new projects are moving steadily through development.
With many manufacturers announcing ambitious plans for the coming year, 2026 is shaping up to be busy and noisy. Our focus is different. We want every Arma Hobby release to offer a genuinely enjoyable building experience — the kind where everything feels right, the build flows naturally, and the time spent at the workbench is as rewarding as the finished model.
The first release – January
We’re opening the year with a strong start.
➡️ Me 262 A-1a, 1/72 scale
The kit will reach stores at the end of January, and pre-orders are already open in the Arma Hobby online store.
This is just the beginning. Further Me 262 boxings are already in preparation, including:
- a version equipped with Wfr. Gr. 21 rockets (3D printed)
- a bomb-carrying variant: Me 262 A-2a Sturmvogel
Continuations from 2025
In 2026, we continue to expand the model lines introduced last year.
Hurricane Mk I 1/48 will return in several new versions:
- Hurricane Mk I trop – February
- Sea Hurricane Mk Ib – Q2
- Hurricane Mk I variants from the Battle of Britain
In 1/72 scale, the first half of the year will also bring:
- F-6D/K Mustang, followed later by the P-51D Mustang VLR
- additional Curtiss kits: P-36C and H-75A (Vichy / Finland)
The exact release order is still being finalized — we want to refine the details before committing to specific dates.
Re-releases – Deluxe Editions
Many of you have been asking about the return of our 1/72 kits. In 2026, they will come back as Deluxe Editions, featuring 3D-printed parts and the Arma Jig assembly and transport stand:
- Yak-1b 1/72
- Hurricane Mk I 1/72
Later on, we also plan to reintroduce these kits in standard single boxings, with new box art and updated decal options.

New kits – New Tool
2026 will also see brand-new tooling. The first completely new kit of the year will be:
- Curtiss H-75A 1/48 – Q2 2026
This model is a direct development of the Curtiss project we previously introduced in 1/72 scale.
After the Curtiss, we are planning the release of another entirely new kit in 1/72 scale, scheduled for the transition between Q2 and Q3.
All in all, 2026 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting year for Arma Hobby: new tooling, continued series, re-releases — and above all, kits designed to deliver enjoyment and calm at the workbench rather than frustration.
Thank you for being with us. Now — onward. ✈️

Holiday break
Our online store will be on holiday break until January 7. That said, you can already place a pre-order for the first-release Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a or just grab another kit to be shipped in New Year. Shipment of Me-262 is planned before the end of January.
