Paweł Ochwat used the 1/72 Airacobra P-39Q kit to build a model of a slightly earlier version of this fighter, the P-39M. He painted it in a very interesting desert camouflage from the fights in North Africa.

This is the second Arma Hobby model I made. This time one of the company’s newest releases, the P-39 Airacobra. I used the 72055 P-39Q kit parts to make a P-39M model in the 1943 African campaign markings. The build went smoothly. I had to pay the most attention to the canopy. The use of putty was minimal.

The model depicts an aircraft from 350th FG. I used a set of decals from DP Casper 72016 for the markings. Painting was done with MR Paint plus chemicals from AK Interactive.
