Aliaksandr Laktsevich from Minsk in Bielarus has build Hurricane Mk IIc Expert Set from Arma Hobby. He made extensive super detailing of the kit. See photos of his excellent model and read what was upgraded by the author.
Aliaksandr dealt with kit canopy thickness and used vacu replacement from Rob Taurus. He has filled a groove for the canopy part in the fuselage hump after a cockpit. Other aftermarket parts used were Quickboost resin exhausts and Master brass gun barrels. He upgraded landing light bays (kit has a one-piece clear part with photoetched light details) and several small details as installation cables, radiator flaps, pushrods and rudder cables. The aeroplane was rivetted, which needed some care not to damage surface details.
Arma Hobby Expert Set. If not my need to upgrade some of the details, it could be called a set for relaxation. (…) In general, the set of Arma Hobby is one of the best that I had in my hands. Detailing, assembly – at the level of the best manufacturers, without exaggeration. There was a lot of compelling exterior detailing, but this required more care, especially when riveting the model.
