The long-awaited 1/48 Hurricane is taking shape fast — here’s the latest update from our toolshop!
Work on the Hurricane Mk I “metal wing” in 1/48 scale is progressing rapidly. According to schedule, we already have the first test shots of the new wing sprue – and the results look very promising.
The Hurricane Mk I was equipped with a wing carrying eight Browning .303 (7.69 mm) machine guns, four in each wing. The same type of wing was also used on the Mk IIa version.

The panel lines and rivet details – both flush in the front part and raised in the middle and rear sections – came out beautifully in the first test shots.

Our toolshop is now working on the fuselage and propeller sprue. We expect the model to be ready in the last week of November, with preorders starting in early November.
