Martin Hulst sent us photos of his Arma Hobby F4F-4 Wildcat in very early war painting scheme – with red discs on the stars and striped rudder. These red markings have been quickly abandoned due to dangerous similarity to Japanese Hinomaru, but… looked very cool!

I thought I’d show you my finished Wildcat. I built your F4F-4 Expert Set. I did the USS Enterprise color scheme, I haven’t seen that one done often yet.

It took a little over 2 months to build. I used Mr Surfacer for primer, Vallejo Model Air colours, Intermediate Gauzy gloss coat, Mig Oilbrusher, Vallejo matt varnish and Vallejo pigments.

So, thank you for this beautifull kit, it was a lot of fun to build.
