Today we have an unusual but very important message.
Hurricane 1/48 models are already on their way to modellers, but we kept the first three pieces from the production line for a special occasion.
Bartek Belcarz, our colleague, but above all an outstanding aviation historian and publisher – co-owner of the renowned international aviation and modelling publishing house Stratus/Mushroom Model Publications – fights cancer. Bartek’s family and friends try in various ways to raise money for expensive therapy. This is a very large amount of money.
Arma Hobby donated the very first three 1/48 scale Hurricane IIc model kits, straight from the production line, to an auction for the treatment of Bartek Belcarz. The kits are one-of-a-kind, numbered, signed by Wojtek Bułhak and Marcin Ciepierski, the owners of Arma Hobby, creators of this model kit. We also add sets of resin 3D-printed details to them: exhaust pipes, cannon barrels, seats with belts.
- We invite you to bid – go to the auction in dedicated Facebook post
- You can also simply donate money for Bartek Belcarz therapy on the Bread of Life Foundation site.
- Selected books written by Bartek Belcarz you can see on the GoodRead portal
