Łukasz Rym has built very fine model of Hurricane Mk.IIb using 1/72 Arma Hobby kit. He placed his model on a funny diorama titled “5 o’clock – The Tea Time”.
Łukasz wrote:
The idea came to my mind to make a Hurricane model showing the plane in the process of being serviced and painting the fuselage stripes.
The scene shows the moment when the work on the plane was stopped because it was five o’clock and it was time for afternoon tea.
Model made straight out of the box.
The film which inspired Łukasz work is available online on the Imperial War Museum website. The still with non-finished stripes appears in the 10:14 minute. Go to the film: link
