Today we present assembly instruction for Hurricane Mk II b/c kit. Set includes parts for several aeroplane variants and underwing stores. Check six markings options chosen for the kit.
The model was designed to offer modellers different versions in one kit. Set contains variants of tailwheel, exhaust manifold, tropical filter and armament. Markings options include various camouflage, national markings types and mission configuration. When you like to build kit in even different colours, you already have plastic parts and most of the markings included in the set.
Set also includes three bonus markings sub-variants of aeroplanes, with slightly changed markings or camouflage.

Good morning I preordered this expert set at the beginning of the month and I would like to be sure that with that box I will be able to build One Hurricane IIB and One IIC ?
Best regards
Patrice
Thank you for question. Kit provides parts to build either Mk IIb or IIc. During preorder you can buy kit with extra plastic parts set, so you can use kit decals for second one.
I am very excited to see this kit, and the new parts and canopies. I have a question about the paint option #2. F/L Karel M. Kuttelwascher’s Hurricane. I have corresponded with Roger Darlington, author of Night Hawk, who quoted from the late Don Parks, a mechanic with 1 Squadron, that he only saw black Hurricanes. This fits well with the options you have for JX@E. However I have not seen it portrayed with the smaller fuselage roundel and fin flash. Was this based on a photograph or other documents? I am very curious.

p.s. my surname is spelled with an “i”, but the Akismet filters change it to a “y” sometimes.
Hey Jeffrey! I am responsible for the reconstruction of the painting and BE581 markings. I found an article in the Czech aviation magazine “Letectvi a Kosmonautika” 1/2019 about all the Hurricane used by Kuttlewascher in 1 Squadron. The article was written by Jiri Sebek in cooperation with R. Darlington and M. Shaw. There were also long discussions on this subject in the Czech modelling forums. Finally, I added my own observations. The presented reconstruction is, in my opinion, the most consistent with what the BE581 looked like in May 1942. In the coming days I will describe and place on the Arma Hobby website more details about all six aircraft whose markings are on decals.

Thank you Grzegorz for the information. I look forward to the kit and really appreciate the long research you have put into the markings. Years ago I did the research and artwork for the Zotz Heavenly Bodies B-17F’s, so I know what it takes to get to the final result. Remarkable work you do for Arma Hobby, I look forward to seeing more.
Best regards,
Jeffrey
