Masanori Sato completed two Mustang Mk.III 1/72 scale models, both in Royal Air Force markings. One of the planes has older ‘birdcage’ canopy and early fin, the other – ‘Malcolm hood’ canopy and the fin with fillet. Both these variants can be built out of the box from the Arma Hobby kit.

The ‘Malcolm hood’ aircraft belongs to 19. Squadron, and the standard canopy aircraft belongs to 249. Squadron. Decals for code letters and roundels are clipped from stock decals.
