I have just finished my first Hawker Hurricane Mk.I. I chose to paint it In No 501 RAF squadron markings. During the Battle of Britain, this aircraft was flown by a Polish pilot, Sgt Antoni Głowacki. On 24th August 1940, he shot down five German aeroplanes and become an ace in a day.
Building this aeroplane, I used parts included In the Expert Edition. The only addition was 0.03mm rigging line made by Ammo MiG.
I painted the kit with Mr Hobby (Gunze) and Tamiya lacquer and acrylic paints. To make a wash, I used Tamiya Panel Liner washes and MiG washes. I also used pigments made by CMK and MiG.
The kit is a pleasure and easy to build. Of course, as with any other model, you have to pay some attention while building it. But I reccomend this model to every Sidney Camm’s iconic fighter fan.
