With the release of the Hurricane Mk I 1\/48 (40015)<\/strong> we prepared a set of 3D-printed accessories available as ready-made prints in a promotional bundle with the model. The same parts are also offered as free STL files<\/strong> \u2014 buyers will find a download link in the kit\u2019s instruction and can print them at home.
\nThese are small parts designed as replacements for selected plastic components \u2014 especially where injection molding forces simplifications. Our goal was to add extra quality exactly where it is most visible, without adding extra work for the modeller.<\/p>\n

Practical note:<\/strong> 3D resin is more brittle than plastic. It\u2019s best to remove parts carefully<\/strong>, ideally with a razor saw<\/strong>. It makes a big difference.<\/p>\n

Pilot\u2019s Seat with Harness \u2013 ready to paint straight away<\/h3>\n

The pilot\u2019s seat is one of the most visible elements of the cockpit, so we refined it thoroughly:<\/p>\n

  • very thin, sharp edges,<\/li>\n
  • harness straps sculpted as an integral detail,<\/li>\n
  • shape fully based on documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    No need to struggle with photo-etched belts \u2014 just wash, prime and paint.<\/p>\n

    Wing Landing Lights \u2013 sharper detail and easier painting<\/h3>\n

    Plastic landing lights always involve compromises. In the 3D version:<\/p>\n

    • the edges are sharp and clean,<\/li>\n
    • the well shows subtle framework and rivet detail,<\/li>\n
    • a three-arm bulb bracket is reproduced on the front face.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This part represents the original much more accurately.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
