The new Arma Hobby P-51K Mustang 1\/72 (#70071) kit represents the variant produced at the North American Aviation plant in Dallas. It\u2019s a lesser-known but very interesting version of the famous Mustang \u2013 the fighter that secured Allied air superiority in the final phase of World War II.<\/p>\n

The P-51K was equivalent to the D version, differing mainly by the use of an Aeroproducts propeller and the distinctive \u201cDallas Hood\u201d canopy. These aircraft served with both the USAAF and the RAF, fighting on two fronts \u2013 in Europe and in the Pacific.<\/p>\n
The painting schemes in the set include three different aircraft that best illustrate the Mustang\u2019s versatility and its service with different users \u2013 American pilots in Europe and the Pacific, and a British pilot in the RAF.
