\"\"The second Curtiss in our Gallery is a model by Maciek Noszczak, a friend of Arma Hobby, an architect who has two great passions outside of work, judo and modelling. In modelling Maciek uses his knowledge and architectural skills – he is the author of many highly regarded modelling plans published in books by renowned publishing houses.

Maciek assembled a Curtiss H-75 A2 version, in the marking scheme of Polish ace Jan Zumbach from the end of the battles over France in June 1940. The aircraft had been seasoned a lot by then, so Maciek’s model is heavily weathered.<\/p>\n

The kit is very enjoyable to assemble, although it requires careful fitting of parts and is not forgiving of mistakes. Particular attention should be paid when joining the wings with the fuselage, the engine cowl and the fit of the canopy with the windshield. Using 3d printed parts, the model is complete even for the most demanding modeller.<\/p>\n

For the French 1940 camouflage, in my opinion the best paints at the moment are Bilmodel.<\/p>\n

I did the effects of dust with Tamiya xf20 paint diluted 1\/6. For painting the small parts I used the latest AK oil markers.<\/p>\n

The kit decals (Techmod) are sensational. To make them sit perfectly, on the tail I treated them with Bilmodel and Microscale fluids.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
