What are these?<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Jig 3D \u2013 for assembly and travel!<\/h2>\n<p>A few weeks ago we introduced a prototype of a new product &#8211; a assembly and travel model jig, printed on a filament 3D printer. The jigs are precisely tailored to specific model kits &#8211; first it was a 1\/72 scale Ki-43 Hayabusa, then the Airacobra, now joined by the Yak-1b.<\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-bio'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'>Last minute info! Special notches allow the model to be fixed with rubber bands. Another important function of the jig is to secure the model for travel &#8211; to a club meeting or a contest &#8211; simply attach the model to the jig with rubber bands, and stick the jig to the bottom of the box with double-sided tape.<\/p>\n<h2>Ki-43 Hayabusa<\/h2>\n<p>We sent the prototype to several modellers for testing. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Luftraum72\/posts\/pfbid0WKaSESw1kk7j4N7o9niWZHz3ZeK9x6zT2swHHFczH2XRWYELVNEcG2ir7iepqcKkl\">Luftraum\/72 from Canada<\/a> has already tried it out and posted pictures and a comment on his Facebook profile:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2018I&#8217;m immediately liking the jig to simply keep the aircraft secure on, and moreso off, the bench without worrying about whacking one of the gear legs off.
