Andy from the Scale Model Sheed channel<\/a> assembled and painted the Ki-84 Hayate model from Arma Hobby beautifully. The plane is painted in the colours of Ensign Megumu Takano of the 57th Shimbu-tai who was killed in the Kamikaze mission on May 25, 1945, in the Okinawa area. See how this model was finished and learn about the master painting and weathering of the model.<\/p>\n

Building the model, Andy used Eduard accessories and products from Mr Hobby, Tamiya, VMS, Ammo by Mig and Abteilung 502. The techniques used were wash, masking and various forms of paint chipping.<\/p>\n
