Ki-84 Hayate 1\/72 model kit project is close to completion. The last works on the mould corrections are progressing. Meanwhile, let’s see what, apart from plastic, will be in the box.<\/p>\n

Expert Set model kits always include additional accessories. In addition to a large decal sheet in the Expert box, you will find photo-etched details and masks helping you paint the canopy.<\/p>\n

Photo-etched details are a way to bypass the technological barriers that plastic model kit manufacturers encounter in the design of plastic injection moulds. Increasing quality of the plastic sprues mean that we may design less details in the PE. Our designer Maciej “Wrona” Wro\u0144ski tells about it. The PE set in Hayate doesn\u2019t need to be large: it contains engine wiring, seatbelts, radiator mesh (two variants) and various levers for the cockpit.<\/p>\n
